To the entire Guru community:

It's with a heavy heart that I must inform you that this site, Guild Wars Guru, will be shutting down on July 1st and will remain in Archive Mode. Over the past 11 years, we've become, and continued to remain, the #1 fansite for Guild Wars, and it's all because to you guys. Without such a strong and passionate community, Guru would have never made it this far and so we thank you for that.

And while we will be saying good-bye to our home here, we will continue to host forums for the GW community over at our sister site, Guild Wars 2 Guru. In fact, you are more than welcome to head on over now and begin posting. If you have any threads you'd like to transfer over, now would be the time.

So once again thank you, and especially those that contributed their time and knowledge to make Guru the amazing place it was. We'll see you over at Guild Wars 2 Guru!

The Guy Above Me, Part 6 Word Association, Part 6 Ask a Dumb Question, Get a Dumb Answer, Part 6! Black Hole Bar Fight Arena - The Rematch This or That The OTA Thread Episode VII More may be added at a later time. Have fun and enjoy our forums. Please do not spam these games excessively and keep your posts within the rules of the game that you are posting in and you will not have any problems. The Off Topic Thread Part _____ will run until it reaches some number and then it will be closed and a new Off Topic Thread will be created. Even though this area is designed to be a little more random and spammy than the rest of the forums, please keep it within reason. And please please please use the "Report Post" button ( - located under a poster's forum profile) if you feel that a post is breaking any of the forum rules and then a Moderator will take a look and take the correct action.
